The meal delivery market is already well established and will undoubtedly continue to grow in the long term. However, it is necessary to anticipate the societal challenges of this market and to develop ethical and sustainable solutions. 70% of non-users believe that delivery is bad for the planet (in addition to transport issues, packaging is an increasingly important concern for consumers), 65% believe that it encourages the exploitation of delivery staff and 61% believe that it promotes junk food and obesity.

What we plan to do
By the end of the third year of operation, we will have opened 5 or even 6 outlets. The hull of our boat will be solid enough to sail towards greater ambitions than just making money.
Working conditions of delivery workers
With the available cash, we will start by hiring our own fleet of delivery people. They will be paid a fair wage for the risks of their job. A permanent job will also give them easier access to housing, health insurance and all the social benefits that go with the job.
We will also ensure the professional transition of our employees by paying them for training in robotics-domotics and/or business administration. Indeed, we believe that in the long term, delivery will be automated and carried out by rolling robots or drones. This is already happening in some countries where delivery robots are driving on the pavements and this system is working well.

It is only a matter of time before it becomes more widespread in Europe. Our employees (if they want to), will be trained to maintain this kind of equipment because later on we could well have our own robotic fleet.
Packaging and transport
Before developing robotic delivery, we will have to equip our delivery people with means of transport.

We will provide them with electric bicycles that allow them to get around just as freely as thermal scooters, but which are more respectful of our environment.

These cleaner means of transport also have the double advantage of making less noise. We will therefore pay more attention to the noise pollution involved in our business.

Packaging remains a key issue for us. It is difficult to combine the practicality and safety of packaging with eco-responsibility. However, we are committed to visiting the ALL4PACK trade fair in Paris every year and to working with an FSC-certified packaging supplier.

ALL4PACK is an annual trade show that brings together packaging professionals and highlights new solutions developed by professionals: a new recycled raw material composed of 100% recycled EPS (isothermal polystyrene - the most used material in the world for packaging) from post-consumer products, biodegradable packaging from a new biosourced material that can be composted for agriculture, packaging that can be reused up to 1,000 times to meet the needs of e-commerce, or new chemical recycling processes that recycle mixed and contaminated plastics.

We're not going to lie, our product is street food and the key is to have fun. On our menu there will always be sauces and fried foods that are not very good for your figure and your health if you overeat.

But that is also why we have chosen to work with NBK Naanerie.

Indeed, they put a lot of effort into their recipes to provide the most balanced diet possible. The vast majority of NBK products are fresh and their marinades are homemade as is their bread. They expect to have developed low-calorie homemade sauces and their own range of drinks within three years.

Apart from NBK, the good thing about home delivery is that households that don't cook can now easily have healthy, balanced meals delivered from specialist restaurants. Instead of buying frozen or prepared meals from the supermarket.
